LappeanLohi has plenty of different accommodation to choose from. The newly renovated main building has 12 individual rooms that can comfortably accommodate a busload of guests. The sizes of the rooms vary from a single room up to a room sleeping four persons. By combining rooms, it is even possible to accommodate a larger group in the so-called family room. The guests have access to clean showers and toilets in the corridor and household linen is included in the accommodation rate.

The apartment located in the old school accommodates a family or larger group of friends (5 + 2 persons). The apartment has a private toilet, shower and kitchen, and two separate bedrooms. The accommodation rate for the apartment also includes household linen.

The open grounds of LappeanLohi holds nine cabins of various sizes. All cabins have a refrigerator, hob and crockery. One of the cabins and both apartments of the semi-detached cabin have a private toilet and shower. The accommodation rate for higher standard cabins includes household linens, but guests staying in other cabins can hire household linen from reception. All accommodation rates include daily use of the sauna.

Kylmamaas all guide services are available in LappeanLohi too. In our team we have fishing guides, wilderness guides and buss guides.

The tranquil location and close to nature ambiance of LappeanLohi offer meeting participants a relaxed and undisturbed meeting environment. Our meeting facilities offer a venue for larger meetings of up to 80 participants. Our meeting space can be equipped with a projector screen, data projector, photocopier and flipchart.

Meals and programmes for the meeting are arranged professionally, and everything is nearby. You can depart on a memorable boat trip from the LappeanLohi jetty to explore the unique landscapes of the border river, or stay on the river embankment to enjoy the hot, yet gently pampering steam of the traditional smoke sauna.

Our cafeteria caters to passing visitors and residents alike, serving homemade pastries and fresh coffee or a cool drink for quenching the thirst.

We hire out boats and fishing equipment suitable for salmon fishing, we sell fishing permits, and
we can also arrange professional fishing guides to assist you in catching your salmon.

Charter transportation is provided with Kylmämaa. We arrange minibus transportation starting from airport transfers.

Camping
You can also come to LappeanLohi with your own mobile home or caravan and stay on a plot with electricity. People camping in tents can also find a suitable spot on the lawn.

Summer time LappeanLohi offers wild salmon fishing.
Tight lines on Lapland’s salmon river
LappeanLohi is located on the shore landscape of Lapland’s most important salmon river, the River Tornionjoki, set by a confluence of two free-flowing rivers teeming with fish. Our guests returning year after year appreciate Lappea’s laidback communal spirit and considerate service. Expert instructions and assistance are provided by our enthusiastic salmon guides.

Laestadius trail is starting in LappeanLohi, so it is the easiest way to start hiking there. We arrange also hiking trips to Pallas-Ylläs Nationalpark.

The snowmobile trails to Yllas starts just on the yard of LappeanLohi and to other distance you can cross the border to Sweden. You also can start your trip from Yllas and overnight in LappeanLohi.

Winter and springwinter best moments are able to experience with snowshoes too!
With snowshoes you can go places where you cant drive with snowmobile. Try soft snow walking or test the marker trails in Ylläs, with Kylmamaas guide, of course!
