SnowVillage - Game Of Thrones®
Nearly 200 km above the Arctic Circle lies a destination of exciting arctic adventures and breathtaking constructions made of snow and ice. In Snow Village, you can spend a night in the Snow Hotel, have a dinner at the ice Restaurant or enjoy the drinks served in real ice glass.
We are located close to Ylläs. The easiest way to get here is by booking the tour or taxi or driving here yourself. Our official opening date is on the 12th of December 2018.
For the winter season 2018-2019 the Snow Village will be created for the 18th time. The annual construction of the Snow Village begins when the temperature drops about ten degrees below zero which is usually beginning of the November. The architectural design and the themes of interior decoration vary from year to year offering always a unique experience.
SnowVillage - Visiting hours and prices
Our official opening date is on the 12th of December 2018. Please note the limited opening times on December due to private events, see below “opening hours today”. During the opening hours you will also find indoor cafeteria, ice restaurant and ice bar.
Visiting is possible before public opening 3rd – 11th of December 2018. Visiting times and services are then limited. Please note that some parts of SnowVillage are still being built and therefore guided tour is obligatory. Guided tours must be booked in advance. Restaurant services are limited and only available based on a prior booking. No hotel, cabin or wedding reservations for this time. Requests and reservations: email@example.com.
Starting from 1st of January 2019 we are open daily between 10am - 10pm.
Entrance fee 17,50 € /adult, 10 € /child (4-14y). Dive in the mystical world of snow building and book your own private guided tour for 65 € / group (1-30 person/group). Guided tour needs to be booked in advance. Please note that entrance fee is not included.
We also serve lunch between 11am - 4pm. Our restaurants warm Krouvi and ice restaurant are open between 5pm – 9.30pm. Table reservation for dinner is needed. Come and enjoy the Lappish coolest dinner!
