CANCELLED Ylläs-Levi Ski Race
04.04.2020YLLÄS-LEVI 2020 IS CANCELLED
The Finnish government has decided today to limit public gatherings and events in Finland with over 500 participants to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Therefore, Ylläs-Levi on Saturday the 4th of April is cancelled.
More than 900 people have already registered for Ylläs-Levi 2020. They will be given two options to choose from – either a refund of 50% of the registration fee (per our General terms and conditions) or a transfer of the registration to next year’s Ylläs-Levi which will be held on 17th of April 2021. We will contact all the registered participants directly during the following weeks with further information on how to proceed. There is no need for participants to contact us in the meantime.
For the time being, the Ylläs-Levi race track is groomed regularly and signs are marking the track, so everyone staying in the area can still enjoy the beautiful track and conditions we have.
We hope for your understanding and support, and wish you welcome to Ylläs-Levi 2021.
Ylläs-Levi is a brand new long distance ski race, but has existed as an unofficial marathon ski event for years. From 2017 Ylläs-Levi will be the final event in Visma Ski Classics, the long distance ski championship consisting of the 13 most prestigious events around the world.
