The Northern Lights are a light phenomenon that occurs in the arctic sky on clear, dark nights. The Northern Lights vary in color from pale whites and greens to vibrant pinks and red. The most common color is green.  The brightness of the lights can depend on the amount of light pollution around; the colors will be stronger the further away you are from the villages.
