Coldest temperature this winter

The cold records for this winter are setting in Finland this week. In Ylläs the temperature is around -30 degrees Celsius.

Kaamos (polar night) has ended and the winter  sun makes the scenery specially beautiful on a frost day.

The life in the villages is still going on in spite of the cold weather. -30 degrees is a normal temperature in Lapland in winter time and people are used to it. You just need to have prober clothes.
