Child care

During the winter season Sport Resort Ylläs offer child care services. Childcare Peikonpesä in Sport Resort Ylläs is open daily from 10:00 - 17:00. Children of all ages are welcome. Please, bring your own meals and snacks. Napping is possible indoor and outdoor. Please, ask for baby sitting in the evenings in your own cabin/room.

Ylläs-Ski in Äkäslompolo has cozy cabin called Lastenpirtti which families can use by their own. There you can have your own lunch or just have a brake with your children.

    • Where not to walk...

    There are plenty of designated walking paths in Ylläs. It is important not to walk on the cross country tracks, not only does it destroy the tracks but it is dangerous for both the skiiers and walkers.
