Tradition of hospitality

Lapland travellers found Ylläs in the 1930s. During the first decades of tourism, fell skiers lodged in the homes of villagers. Guests from afar were treated as guests of honor: at mealtime they were served the very best food and their beds were placed in the most comfortable locations. This same tradition of hospitality still lives on. Come and enjoy it.
