YLLÄS area skipass pricing

An area ticket = skipass + local bus pass

Ylläs is offering a new type of ticket the ‘Ylläs Area’ ticket. An Ylläs Area ticket includes both a skipass and a local bus pass. Now you have the option of buying either the ski pass on its own or an Ylläs Area pass (ski pass + bus pass) which gives you an unlimited use of the local bus network during the validity of your ticket.

The bus pass costs 2,5 €/day on top of the normal ski pass. You are allowed to use the local bus network in both Äkäslompolo and Ylläsjärvi. You have an unrestricted access to the bus network with the exception of spring peak time evenings and the night bus.

Sample pricing:  A 6 -day Ylläs area pass = adult 6- day ski pass price off peak 128€  + 15€ (6 x 2,5€) local buss pass  = 143 € Please note that the bus pass maximum is 15€ so if you get an Ylläs area ticket for longer period than 6 days the share of the bus pass is still only 15€

Season Tickets and Company Tickets include the use of the bus network for the whole season!

The one ride ticket, hourly tickets and the Lapland Super Skipass are not available as Ylläs area tickets.

Children under 4 years can use the local bus network for free.  

If you don’t have the Ylläs area pass you can still buy single fares on the bus.
