Comfortable Hotelli Kolari is a friendly family-hotel by Kolari village off road nr.8 to Muonio. Kolari railway station is within walking distance and the border to Sweden also quite near. The only thing far away is the rat race!

Our hotel has 36 rooms, a restaurant with 255 seats, self-service coffee-shop, two bars and a sunny terrace in front of the building. For recreation we have 2 saunas and a room with a fireplace. Our comfortable restaurant seats 255 people and has a bar with full licenses and a coffee-shop by the reception. In the evenings our guests are entertained by a live orchestra or a selection of CD:s to choose from. If need be, the House Band will take over or a troubadour organizes a sing-along. Outside the hotel we have a Lappish hut with 60 seats that can be used for special events. We also have a spacious paved parking lot with three entrances and plenty of space for even the biggest cars.

Our organisation is small and we are therefore able to be flexible, no matter what our guests require from our programs or seasonal menus. Our chef prepares delicious meals ranging from Lappish delicacies to international cuisine by using his 20-years of experience. Our staff have acquired their skills from various hotels and restaurants in Lapland as well as the Alps. The breathtaking nature of Finnish Lapland awaits! The most enchanting locations of Fell-Lapland are right next door: Fells Ylläs, Levi, Olos and Pallas, Ylläs-Pallas National park and Pajala village in Sweden are all only one hours drive away.
